The Hungarian Rubber Association (MAGUSZ) was founded in 1990. Its members are manufacturers and traders of compound and technical rubber products, suppliers of raw and auxiliary materials, laboratory testing companies, tyre processing companies and educational institutions.
MAGUSZ held its traditional Rubber Industry Roundtable meeting on October 2-3, 2025. Two representatives of KTT Sealing Technology, Rita Pécsi, Materials Management Manager, and Péter Farkas, Project Manager, met with industry representatives at the event.
The program featured a number of exciting and topical issues.
In his presentation on EUDR regulations, Dr. Dániel Nagy (NÉBIH) outlined EU regulations relating to deforestation and their impact on the distribution of industrial products.
Gergely Prőhle, former ambassador to Berlin, gave an informal yet extremely informative presentation analyzing Germany’s current political and economic situation and its impact on Hungary. His excellent presentation style captivated the audience and shed new light on European economic processes.
Generational researcher Enikő Bereczki spoke about intergenerational cooperation and motivation in the workplace, offering practical advice for effective teamwork.
Finally, artificial intelligence expert Gábor Érdi-Krausz presented the industrial applications, ethical and regulatory issues of AI, emphasizing the importance of managerial responsibility.
The professional program concluded with a gala dinner and the presentation of the Klein Pál Award, which this year went to István Balogh. The dinner provided a fitting end to the day and an opportunity for informal professional discussion.
On the second day of the conference, those interested were able to visit the Bridgestone Tire Factory in Környe.
